2026년 10월 23일(금)과 24일(토) 이화여자대학교에서 개최되는 International Conference on Hazard Literacy (ICHL 2026)에 여러분을 초대합니다.
오늘날 우리는 기후변화, 감염병, 기술 리스크, 자연재해 등 다양한 위험에 직면하고 있습니다. 이러한 복합 위기에 대응하기 위해, 교육을 기반으로 한 해저드 리터러시(Hazard Literacy)의 중요성이 그 어느 때보다 강조되고 있습니다.
ICHL 2026은 ‘해저드 리터러시 교육: 인공지능, 데이터, 위험 소통과 시민 참여 및 실천’을 주제로 전 세계 교육자, 연구자, 정책가, 실무자, 학생들이 함께 모여 다음과 같은 질문을 던지고 답을 모색하는 장입니다.
학술대회 참여는 무료로, 참가를 희망하시는 분께서는 10월 19일(월)까지 학술대회 홈페이지에서 등록해 주시기 바랍니다. 재해·재난 대응의 새로운 패러다임을 함께 만들어 갈 여러분의 많은 참여 부탁드립니다.

We are pleased to invite you to the International Conference on Hazard Literacy (ICHL 2026), which will be held at Ewha Womans University on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Today, we face a wide range of risks, including climate change, infectious diseases, technological risks, and natural disasters. In responding to these complex and interconnected challenges, the importance of education-based hazard literacy has become more critical than ever.
Under the theme “Education for Hazard Literacy: AI, Data, Risk Communication, and Civic Action,” ICHL 2026 will bring together educators, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and students from around the world to exchange ideas, raise important questions, and explore new approaches to hazard literacy education.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. Those wishing to attend are kindly requested to register through the conference website by Monday, October 19. We warmly welcome your participation as we work together to explore new approaches to disaster and hazard preparedness and response.
