KOICA-국제대학원, 베트남여성연맹 초청 ‘여성리더십 역량강화 연수’ 개최 N

국제대학원 주관하고 한국국제협력단(KOICA)이 주최하는 ‘여성리더십 역량강화 연수(Capacity-Building for Vietnam Women’s Union on Foreign Affairs and International Integration in Vietnam)’가 10월 26일(일)부터 11월 8일(토)까지의 일정을 성공적으로 마쳤다.
이번 연수는 KOICA Fellowship Program, CIAT(Cooperation Invitation Program for Advanced Training)의 일환으로 실시되는 프로그램으로, 베트남 여성리더들의 정책 기획 및 실행 역량 강화를 목표로 진행되었다.
‘CIAT’은 ‘씨앗(Seed)’이라는 의미로, 개발도상국의 공무원, 정책 담당자, 전문가들을 한국으로 초청해 기술연수와 지식공유를 통해 희망의 씨앗을 심는다는 뜻을 담고 있다. KOICA는 이를 위해 국내 공공기관, 연구소, 대학 등과 협력하여 수준 높은 연수 과정을 운영하고 있으며, 참가자들은 귀국 후 자국 사회에서 한국의 경험과 협력정신을 확산하는 중요한 역할을 맡고 있다.
이번 프로그램에는 베트남여성연맹(Vietnam Women’s Union, VWU) 본부 및 지방정부 산하 여성연맹, 그리고 베트남조국전선(Vietnam Fatherland Front, VFF) 관계자 등 여성공무원 15명이 참여하였다. 연수는 여성정책 우수사례 분석, 젠더 주류화 전략과 툴 이해, 민관협력전략 및 액션플랜 수립 워크숍 등으로 구성되어, 한국의 여성정책과 리더십 발전 경험을 공유하고 베트남의 여성정책 추진 전략에 적용할 수 있는 실질적인 방향을 모색하는 계기가 되었다.
국제대학원은 이번 프로그램이 국제개발협력과 성평등 분야의 교류 및 학문적 연계성을 강화하고, 지속가능한 여성리더십 네트워크 구축을 위한 실질적 기반을 다지는 중요한 계기가 되었다고 밝혔다. 본 프로그램 관련 상세 문의는 국제대학원(02-3277-3652, gsis@ewha.ac.kr)으로 할 수 있다.

The Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) at Ewha Womans University, in collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), successfully concluded the “Capacity-Building for the Vietnam Women’s Union on Foreign Affairs and International Integration in Vietnam” program, which was held from October 26 (Sun) to November 8 (Sat), 2025.
This program is part of the KOICA Fellowship Program, CIAT (Cooperation Invitation Program for Advanced Training), which aims to strengthen the policy planning and implementation capacity of women leaders in Vietnam.
The term “CIAT,” meaning seed in Korean, symbolizes KOICA’s vision of planting seeds of hope across partner countries by inviting government officials, policymakers, and experts from developing nations to Korea for technical training and knowledge sharing. Through partnerships with public institutions, research organizations, and universities, KOICA provides high-quality fellowship programs, and participants play a vital role in promoting Korea’s development experience and cooperative spirit in their home countries.
This year’s program brought together 15 female officials from the headquarters and local branches of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU), as well as from the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF). The curriculum included sessions on best practices in women’s policy, strategies and tools for gender mainstreaming, public-private partnership strategies, and action plan workshops. Participants shared insights from Korea’s experiences and explore practical ways to apply them to Vietnam’s ongoing efforts to advance women’s leadership and policy implementation.
Ewha GSIS noted that this program served as an important platform to promote academic and professional cooperation in the fields of international development and gender equality, while contributing to the establishment of a sustainable network of women leaders across countries.
