김성진 명예교수

김성진 교수는 화학·나노과학전공 교수로 1989년 미국 아이오와 주립대에서 물리화학전공으로 박사학위를 받았으며 1990년 3월부터 이화여자대학에서 교육과 연구 활동을 시작하였다. 김성진 교수는 나노소재분야 연구의 국내 선두주자이며 나노소재화학, 재료화학분야에서 우수한 연구 활동을 진행 중이다. 현재까지 300편 이상의 논문을 Nano Letter, Journal of American Society, Angewandte Chemie 등 최고수준의 SCI 국제학술지에 발표하였고 18편의 특허를 발표하였다. 연구의 우수성을 인정받아 한국과학기술한림원 정회원(2015)으로 선정되었고 대한화학회 학술상(2013), 미래부장관표창(2016)을 수상하였다. 2020년 대한민국 과학인의 최고영예인 과학유공자 1 등급 과학기술훈장 창조장을 수훈하였다. 대한화학회 여성위원장, 재료분과회장, 나노기술현구협의회 부회장, 국가과학기술연구회 이사, 한국과학기술한림원 학술부원장 등을 역임하였다.
