이남숙 명예교수
이남숙 교수는 생명과학전공/에코과학부 & 에코크리에이티브 협동과정 소속 교수로 식물계통학 분야 연구의 권위자다. 이화여대 대학원에서 석, 박사학위를 받고 미국 오하이오 주립대학에서 포스트닥 과정을 이수했으며, 미국 농무성 국립수목원 연구소에서 방문과학자로 연구한 바 있다. 관속식물, 특히 백합과 및 난과 식물 등에 대한 연구를 진행하여 약 60편의 논문을 국내전문학술지와 SCI급 국제학술지에 발표했다. 저서로는 『모든 들풀은 꽃을 피운다』(중앙 M&B, 1998), 『한국의 난과식물도감』(이화대학 출판부, 2011), 『식물의 모든 것』(이화여자대학교 출판문화원, 2017) 등이 있다. 자연과학대학 학장과 식물분류학회장을 역임하였다. 담당과목은 식물다양성, 분류학특론 및 분류군생물학 등이 있다.
