Ewha Womans University Library was established at Frey Hall on Chungdong campus in 1923 and has moved to Shinchon campus in 1935. The library has provided one of the important academic services to Ewha community. It has developed its collection by acquiring latest information resources and has specified its programs to support the institution’s learning, teaching and research activities.

Ewha library system, including five branch libraries (Music, Medical, Law, Theological, and Engineering), has developed in-depth subject emphases offering subject guides, group and/ or individual library instructions, and research help. With these services it promotes Ewha members to focus on research and educational outcomes.

The library makes effort to collect diverse information effectively and strengthen information services by managing Foreign Research Information Center and joining mutual cooperation with Ewha research centers and other academic organizations.

By investing various contents and developing user support programs, Ewha library will do the best to support research and instructional activities. Furthermore Ewha library will make progress towards the academic achievement of Ewha community and knowledge sharing of society.
