Student Exchange Programs(Exchange Student Program)

General Student Exchange Program

General Student Exchange Program

The General Student Exchange Program provides opportunities for Ewha students to study abroad at universities that have student exchange agreements with Ewha Womans University. Exchange students are selected each semester based on set procedures and the languages of instruction (English, Chinese, Japanese, French, German, and Spanish). The duration of the program is either one semester or one year. Tuition is paid directly to Ewha, and students are exempt from paying tuition to their host university. Procedures are in place to allow the transfer of credits from host universities to Ewha and count towards credits for graduation.

Special Student Exchange Program

Special Student Exchange Program (Fee-paying program)

All the selection procedures for the Special Student Exchange Program are identical to those of the General Student Exchange Program. However, substantial portions of the tuition fees will be deducted through a special agreement between Ewha and the respective partner university. Students who meet the requirements for Ewha scholarships for exchange students will receive 80% of Ewha’s tuition as a scholarship.

ISEP Student Exchange Program

ISEP Student Exchange Program

ISEP (International Student Exchange Program) is a non-profit organization in the U.S. and was established with the aim of facilitating student exchanges across the globe to allow for the efficient exchange of credits among ISEP member universities. Currently, about 300 universities in more than 50 countries are registered as ISEP members. Through this program, students of Ewha can study at one of the ISEP member universities, and pay the tuition, dormitory fees and meal plans directly to Ewha.
