Overview
In 2016, the College of Science and Industry Convergence was established to provide a versatile interdisciplinary educational model. The college consists of 6 majors (Contents Convergence, Fashion, International Office Administration, Kinesiology & Sports Studies, Nutritional Science & Food Management, and Health Convergence) which are the foundational academic fields of a smart living industry. One of our main goals is to foster students with high potential to become outstanding female professionals in the global industries of contents, fashion, MICE, sports, food service and healthcare. To achieve this goal, the college curriculum presents the latest and most fundamental education to students to empower them with the integrated intellectual capacities of science, ICT, art, and humanities and to expose them to industry experience in advance. In our ever evolving contemporary society, the necessity for converged academic disciplines that can provide a basis and insight to lead future industries is in high demand. Industries aiming to improve overall quality of life always are always looking for creative and innovative professionals equipped with interdisciplinary competence to facilitate cutting-edge technologies and demographic transitions.
To fulfill the mission of our college, intense industry oriented educational training programs are developed to resolve the industrial mismatch in demand and supply of human resources due to the changes in future social environments. The college offers education-research-job career interconnected educational programs. The students trained through these programs will receive interdisciplinary convergence ICT based education, conduct industrial-demand based research, and experience industry tailored field education. Ultimately, the students who successfully complete these programs will be able to fulfill roles as pioneering leaders in the field of future life related industries.

The Aims of Education
- 01 To nurture students with upstanding personalities and thinking skills who are dedicated to social change.
- 02 To educate students to integrate and develop interdisciplinary knowledge and achieve interdisciplinary competence, especially in areas of humanitarian creativity, design engineering, and ICT.
- 03 To produce globally competent specialists who are insightful and capable of pioneering new industries in global markets through intense training in communication and promoting international education programs.
- 04 To train students to acquire practical knowledge of the industry by offering industry tailored tracks and internships so that students will eventually acquire resilient competencies of both basic & applied disciplines, generalist & specialist fields, as well as global & local perspicacity.
