Overview
The Graduate School of Policy Sciences (GSPS) was established in 1998 to advance the academic knowledge and expertise of female professionals working in government, business, and other organizations. To achieve this goal, the school provides part-time courses to educate students on the latest trends and theories in politics, administration, economy, communications and archives from an academic standpoint.
The School consists of four departments: the Department of Public Policy, the Department of Arts and Cultural Policy, the Department of Mass Communications, and the Department of Archival Science. As of February 2019, approximately 650 students have graduated from the school.
The School accepts 60 students every year and as of 2019, approximately 100 students are enrolled.

The aim of education
Our specific objectives are to:
- Produce accomplished professionals in politics and administration who can quickly respond to increasingly globalized and digitized social environments.
- Produce arts and cultural policy professionals who can develop and invigorate regional cultures with the ability to understand and analyze arts and culture from business and administrative perspectives and proficiently adapt to diverse environments.
- Produce communications and public relations professionals who can skillfully cope with the changing markets and related policies in dynamic media industries.
- Train archival professionals who are equipped with the most current knowledge of research and education in archival science and skills to effectively manage existing archival materials as well as meet international standards.
