Support for North Korean Refugee Students
The Student Services Department provides a variety of programs to help North Korean refugee students adapt to campus life.
- Supporting Programs
- a. Summer/winter session grants: Total financial support to currently enrolled students up to 6 credits.
- b. English Class: A non-credit English grammar and reading class that freshman can take during winter vacations.
- c. Student Meetings: 1~2 sessions per semester. This aims to help students’ academic studies and campus life.
- d. Freshmen Mentoring Program: Match/connect with graduate mentors at the beginning of the 1st semester freshmen year in order to help with/support campus life.
- e. Global Exhibition Program: 1 team (3 North Korean refugee students and 1 graduate student) is selected to go on an exhibition abroad every year, 1 session per year.

Diverse scholarships (University Church, Chae Kyung-ryung Unification Talent, Kim Hwallan, Bang Il-Young Foundation Scholarship etc.) Announcements regarding scholarships will appear on the homepage.

- Tutoring Program (CACA tutoring)
1:1 tutoring classes to help with academic work of major courses. Freshmen and sophomores are eligible to apply.

- Personal Counseling Program
This program gives students the opportunity to meet professional counselors in private sessions at the Student Counseling Center.
