Students with average grades over a certain superior level
Qualification
At the end of each semester
- Dean's List (by semester): Students with good conduct who have earned over 15 credits for the semester with no failed courses and a minimum 3.75 GPA. Note that credits for summer/winter semester courses, special exams (including the English/Information Certification Exams), and credits earned beyond the attendance years are not considered.
- Magna Cum Laude : Students with good conduct and no failed courses or cancellation credits and a minimum 3.75 GPA.
- Summa Cum Laude : Students with good conduct and no failed courses or cancellation credits and a minimum 4.0 GPA.
Magna/Summa Cum Laude certificate
Magna/Summa Cum Laude students are presented with a certificate upon graduation.
Important Notes
Transfer students (excluding the College of Medicine) are not considered for Magna/Summa Cum Laude honors.
