We are pleased to invite you to the International Conference on Hazard Literacy (ICHL 2026), which will be held at Ewha Womans University on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Today, we face a wide range of risks, including climate change, infectious diseases, technological risks, and natural disasters. In responding to these complex and interconnected challenges, the importance of education-based hazard literacy has become more critical than ever.
Under the theme “Education for Hazard Literacy: AI, Data, Risk Communication, and Civic Action,” ICHL 2026 will bring together educators, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and students from around the world to exchange ideas, raise important questions, and explore new approaches to hazard literacy education.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. Those wishing to attend are kindly requested to register through the conference website by Monday, October 19. We warmly welcome your participation as we work together to explore new approaches to disaster and hazard preparedness and response.
