Ewha Law School Team Winning the Grand Prize
Students from Ewha Law School, Kim Soo-min, Go Yoo-jung, Kim Yoo-jin, Lee Ye-seul, and Lee Hae-in, won the grand prize (Minister of Science and ICT Award) at the 2022 ICT Mock Dispute Mediation Contest hosted by the Korea Internet & Security Agency and the Ministry of Science and ICT on September 29.
The contest was held in four categories: electronic transactions, Internet address, information protection industry, and online advertising. Ewha Law School team received the best grades in all categories with the project on branded content advertising called "Production of Online Advertising Video and Release of Comment Management Contract and Compensation for Damage.”
The ICT Mock Dispute Mediation Contest has been held since 2017 to raise students’ and prospective legal professionals' interest in a faster and more economical mediation system than court proceedings.
Lee Ye-seul, the team leader of the Ewha Law School team, mentioned, "It was a valuable opportunity to write about 150 pages of documents and demonstrate mock mediation," adding, "I thank the team members and professors for their help.”
