2014 Ewha Volunteers Share Love with People from Cambodia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam

Ewha’s volunteer team who centered in overseas education and Ewha Medical Care, visited Cambodia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. This trip's mission was to take a leading role towards creating a more harmonious society where people help one another.
Ewha’s overseas educational volunteer team visited Ewha Social Services Center located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and participated in community services focused on education. Twenty two volunteers provided the children with immense opportunities to experience a variety of cultural exchanges, educational information, and other volunteer programs from January 12th to January 24th.
Ewha Medical Care's doctors, nurses, intern/resident doctors and students visited Uzbekistan and Vietnam. Starting from January 18th to January 24th, twenty four volunteers served in health care related activities in Taschkent, Uzbekistan. Another group composed of twenty one volunteers visited Hanoi and Son La, Vietnam and worked on public service of medical care from January 24th to January 30th.
The Ewha Volunteer Team, which began in the summer of 2000, have held its annual summer and winter ceremonies with their enrolled student body volunteers and have worked in educational, medical, and architectural public service nationally and internationally.
