New Year’s Greetings to the Ewha Family
Marking the beginning of the new year, Ewha held the 2014 New Year’s Greeting with the Ewha family at the ECC Lee San-bong Hall at 10 a.m. on January 2, 2014.
2014, the Year of the Blue Horse, coincides with the 128th anniversary of Ewha Womans University. Chairperson Chang Myong-Sue of the Board of Trustees of Ewha Womans University, President Kim Sun-Uk, Ewha’s faculty and staff, student representatives, and members of Ewha Haktang and affiliated schools gathered to celebrate the new year and share plans and visions for the year ahead.
In her New Year’s address, President Kim Sun-Uk asked members of the Ewha community to “gather all our wisdom and join our hearts to develop and grow Ewha and realize our communal values by completing projects due this year and initiating new tasks.”
This year’s greeting was attended by the largest number of Ewha family thus far, and Chairperson Chang and President Kim greeted every Ewha member at the meeting to celebrate the New Year and share good tidings.
