Ewha Forges Global Campus Network in Singapore

President Bae Yong Lee visited Singapore this January and successfully launched 'Ewha in Singapore'. Lee visited National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, and Singapore Management University and made partnerships concerning expanding the number of exchange students and tuition benefits. Due to the newly launched 'Ewha in Singapore', the total number of Ewha's global campus network to strengthen global capacity has become 14.
Four Ewha medical students will be sent to National University of Singapore Medical School. Ewha was designated as 'a recommendable university for student training' by National University of Singapore Medical School and is expected to flourish exchanges with National University of Singapore.
In addition, President Bae Yong Lee visited Asia Office of United Board(UB), the supporting foundation of the University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Christian University, to strengthen 'Ewha in Hongkong' program. Thanks to this visit, Ewha will expand student exchange program with the University of Hong Kong through summer schools and it will be offered to Ewha students for free of charge.
The global campus network is consisted of prestigious universities of the world including Harvard University, Columbia University, Boston University, Wellesley College, Beijing University, Tsinghua University, London University, and the University of Sorbonne. Ewha will continue to establish Ewha Campus Network throughout 20 major regions of the world. Ewha will send 60% of its students abroad until 2010 through global campus networks and continue building Ewha's unique knowledge network together with the world's prestigious universities.
