Ewha Global Campus Leader Inauguration Ceremony Held

Ewha held the inauguration ceremony of Ewha Global Campus Leader(EGCL), the first university student ambassador group composed of only foreign students at ECC on November 24th.
In the ceremony, all 24 students attended and received the certificate of appointment. The founding EGCL is consisted of students from all over the world including China, Netherlands, United States, Germany, Hong Kong, Philippines, and Kenya. Among them are five male students who are the first to become official male delegates of Ewha.
Ewha Global Campus Leaders are exchange, visiting, and regular foreign students who currently study at Ewha and it is the first time for a Korean university to have a student delegation consisted of only foreign students.
EGCL will be assisting campus tours with Ewha Campus Leaders when the VIPs and visitors from their country visit Ewha. EGCLs will also be honorary ambassadors of Ewha and will be promoting Ewha with their own experience of campus life at Ewha when they go back to their home country.
President Bae-Yong Lee said, "Launching Ewha Global Campus Leader is meaningful in that it is the birth of a new world-wide Ewha family. The role of Ewha Global Campus Leaders will be introducing Ewha to the world on behalf of 170 thousand alumni and all the foreign students who have experienced Ewha."
