Mi Hee Cha Professor

Department of Social Studies Education

  Professor Cha Mi Hee is well known for her research on Choson dynasty and the field of history education, and she is in the Department of Social Studies Education (History).  Cha earned two doctorate degrees from Korea University, the first from Department of Korean History, and the second in education from Department of History Education. Her current research subjects are the Gwageo exam papers and education of East Asian History.  She is also a member of editing committee for Ewha History Magazine, and an advisor for Official Korean History Exam.  Her numerous publications include <History Education in Korean Middle and High Schools> (Kyoyookbook Publication), and <Life of a Confucian student and the Gwageo exam> (Ewha University Press), which was awarded 2013 recommended publication by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
