Networking sessions held with alumni from the Ewha Alumnae Association's Washington, D.C. Chapter
Ewha Womans University's Startup Support Center (Director Kim Sangjun) hosted the "Ewha Entrepreneur Alumni Networking" event with laboratory startup exploration teams participating in the 2026 Tech-Corps (Technology Commercialization Corps) Program and Ewha alumni based in the United States as part of the overseas field training component of the 2026 Public Technology-Based Market-Linked Startup Exploration Support Program (Tech-Corps).
The event was designed to help participating laboratory startup exploration teams deepen their understanding of the U.S. startup ecosystem and market environment while building a foundation for global expansion through exchanges with Ewha alumni working in the United States. Networking sessions were held in San Francisco on July 9 and Washington, D.C. on July 10, bringing together a total of 47 participants, including the startup exploration teams and alumni from the Northern California and Washington, D.C. chapters of the Ewha Alumnae Association.

The program consisted of introductions to the Laboratory Startup Innovation Center and participating alumni, presentations by the startup exploration teams, and one-on-one networking sessions between the teams and alumni. Each team introduced its startup item and shared the progress of overseas market validation efforts, while the alumni offered practical advice and insights based on their experience in local industries and entrepreneurship.
Through the networking event, the participating teams established valuable connections to support their entry into the U.S. market and laid the groundwork for continued collaboration with the entrepreneurial and industry networks of Ewha alumni. The Startup Support Center will continue to strengthen the global entrepreneurship capabilities of its laboratory startup exploration teams by supporting the development of overseas networks and providing opportunities for international market exploration.
