Announcement of Outstanding Teams and Grand Prize Team

Director Ha Eun-hee of the Ewha Institute for Global Social Responsibility stated, “The first cohort of G4A supporters were not merely participants, but pioneers and partners who helped build the foundation of this program. Your efforts in exploring new directions for social contribution and demonstrating those values will serve as an important benchmark and source of inspiration for future supporters.” She added, “I hope this completion ceremony will not mark an end, but rather a new starting point for creating broader change in society, and that your experience as supporters will lead to empathy, responsibility, and leadership for a sustainable future.” She also noted, “As the doors of the Ewha Institute for Global Social Responsibility are always open, I hope you will continue to contribute to Ewha’s social responsibility initiatives with diverse ideas and active participation.”

SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) refer to the United Nations’ shared global agenda, implemented from 2016 to 2030, aimed at building a sustainable human society and protecting the global environment. They encompass universal social issues (such as poverty, disease, education, women, children, refugees, and conflict), environmental and climate issues (including climate change, energy, pollution, water, and biodiversity), and economic issues (such as technology, housing, labor, employment, production and consumption, social structures, law, and infrastructure). The SDGs consist of 17 major goals and 169 targets to be achieved by 2030 and were unanimously adopted by 193 countries at the 70th United Nations General Assembly and the UN Sustainable Development Summit in 2015.
