The post office is located on the first basement level of the Alumnae Building. The campus post office provides general mailing services including mail, parcel, registration, domestic/international EMS, and certain banking services. The normal business hours differ by day and season. The post office is well equipped with a variety of packaging items such as tape, scissors, and boxes. However, for the benefit of other customers please try to have all of the necessary information such as addresses prepared when you approach the desk. In general Korean postal services are reliable and speedy, generally taking a week for shipments made out of country and a few days within Korea. Be sure that you check in advance about any goods that are un-shippable by law. Shin Han Bankis(http://www.shinhan.com/) located on the basement floor of the Ewha Campus Complex. The business hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and closed on weekends and holidays. To open an account, you need to show a form of identification, including passport. Money transfer from overseas can be made freely up to 20,000 USD per day. For the exceeding amount, the bank has to report the activity to the government. Also, you will need to consult your home bank first if you intend to use their cash (debit) card in Korea. Due to easier accessibility around the campus, you may find it convenient to open an account with Shin Han Bank. Be sure to bring your passport each time you go to the bank, as many services cannot be performed for foreigners without it. There are several ATM machines managed by Shin Han Bank on campus. Also, many Korean and international banks are located off-campus and downtown Seoul. For your information, a service fee will be charged if you use an ATM of a bank different from the one you have a debit card, and if you use an ATM outside of bank business hours (usually around1,500 won).

ECC branch of Kyobo-Book(http://www.kyobobook.co.kr/) offers textbooks for classes and a variety of books. You can save up the 3% of prices making a Kyobo-book point card. After enrolling the membership through the internet, you can issue a point card. It's possible to save up and use a point card at the all branches of Kyobo book stores and internet Kyobo.
