ROTC Cadets Put the Value of Sharing Life Into Practice
The Student Military Education Corps (ROTC) of Ewha Womans University donated 113 blood donation certificates for underprivileged blood cancer patients to Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital on April 20 (Mon.).
The 113 blood donation certificates delivered that day were voluntarily collected by ROTC cadets to provide practical support for patients who require continuous blood transfusions throughout their treatment process. Despite balancing academic responsibilities and military training, the cadets came together to put the value of sharing life into practice, making the initiative even more meaningful through their voluntary participation.
An Ewha ROTC cadet shared, “I feel rewarded knowing that even a small act can help patients,” adding, “I hope to continue participating in acts of sharing that can contribute to society in the future.”
Kim Hyunhee, Part Leader of the Social Work Team at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital, which received the meaningful donation certificates from the ROTC cadets, stated, “We hope this donation of blood donation certificates will become a small source of hope for patients undergoing treatment for blood cancer,” adding, “We will continue working together with the local community to put the value of respect for life into practice.”
