The Global Future Lifelong Education Institute (Director Cho Sa-bang) at Ewha Womans University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on April 2 at the Seodaemun-gu Office to promote the “Happy Campus” lifelong education support project, a joint initiative involving nine universities in Seodaemun-gu.
Through this agreement, the participating institutions will contribute to revitalizing community-based lifelong learning by continuously identifying and operating practical lifelong education programs in connection with the local community.
Director Cho Sa-bang stated, “This agreement marks an important starting point for close collaboration between the local community and universities to expand lifelong learning opportunities for residents and to build a sustainable educational ecosystem,” adding, “We will continue to actively participate in developing a lifelong education model that grows together with the community.”
Starting in September, the Global Future Lifelong Education Institute plans to offer a Level 1 professional certification course in “Horticultural Emotional Communication Specialist,” which aims to enhance communication skills through horticultural activities, as well as cultural and arts programs designed to improve quality of life through everyday artistic experiences.
