Ewha Womans University’s Startup Support Foundation has been selected for a series of external partnership projects in 2026, further strengthening its entrepreneurship education system that integrates both curricular and extracurricular programs. In particular, through collaboration with major domestic foundations and institutions, the Foundation is expanding support for student entrepreneurship education and demonstrating tangible outcomes in enhancing practical startup capabilities.

In the curricular area, entrepreneurship education is being actively expanded with a focus on technology-based, social problem-solving ventures and climate tech startups. With support from the Kakao Impact Foundation, the Foundation offers the course “Social Venture Startup,” which provides project-based learning aimed at creating social value through technology. The course combines case studies of social ventures with hands-on startup projects, enhancing students’ problem-solving skills and execution capabilities.

In addition, Ewha has been selected for the “Climate Tech Entrepreneurship Culture Expansion Project” supported by the Asan Nanum Foundation, leading to the introduction of courses such as “Fundamental Design in Environmental Engineering” and “Introduction to Climate Tech Entrepreneurship.” These courses aim to deepen students’ understanding of technology-driven responses to the climate crisis while creating an educational environment that supports practical preparation for startups in this field.

The Foundation has also been selected to participate in the “KDB Entrepreneurship Education Program,” jointly organized by the Korea Development Bank, the KDB Foundation, and the Korea Entrepreneurship Foundation. As part of this initiative, Ewha offers the “Startup Capstone Design” course, a practice-oriented program that supports students in developing startup ideas into concrete business models and carrying them through to execution, providing essential experience in the early stages of entrepreneurship.

Support is also expanding in the extracurricular domain. With backing from the Asan Nanum Foundation, the Foundation plans to implement extracurricular programs and joint projects related to climate tech entrepreneurship, including collaborative sprints with KAIST, thereby increasing accessibility to entrepreneurship and expanding opportunities for student participation.

Furthermore, Ewha has been selected for Seodaemun-gu’s “Nine-University Joint Happy Campus Support Project” and will operate an “AI Vibe Coding Startup Bootcamp,” an intensive program in which participants design, develop, and launch AI-based products within a short period.

Through these initiatives, Ewha Womans University’s Startup Support Foundation continues to expand entrepreneurship education by organically linking curricular and extracurricular programs based on diverse external funding sources, while fostering an environment where students can actively experience and pursue entrepreneurship. Moving forward, the Foundation aims to strengthen its role as a hub for cultivating future entrepreneurial talent through sustained external collaboration and educational innovation.
