Ewha Womans University Technology Holdingshas formed a KRW 900 million innovation investment fund in partnership withDankook University Technology HoldingsandCNTTech Co., Ltd.. On Tuesday, February 3, the partners held the “2026 Innovation Investment Fund Launch Ceremony and 1st IR (Investor Relations) Session” targeting promising deep-tech startups.

The fund was jointly established through capital contributions from Ewha Womans University, Dankook University, and CNTTech Co., Ltd. It has drawn attention as a university–private sector collaborative investment model that combines the research infrastructure and technology commercialization capabilities of universities with the investment and scale-up expertise of a private accelerator.

The three institutions will participate as GPs (General Partners) and, over the next seven years, plan to build a virtuous cycle investment ecosystem for deep-tech startups in fields such as AI, semiconductors, and SDGs. Their strategy includes university-based technology commercialization, discovery and nurturing of early-stage startups, and linkage to follow-up investments.
