The Ewha Office of Global Affairs and Future Education hold the joint nine-university Happiness Campus program

The Ewha Office of Global Affairs and Future Education (Director Cho Sabang) held the opening ceremony for “Art Encounters with Ewha,” part of the Seodaemun District joint nine-university Happiness Campus support project, on September 16 (Tuesday) at the Ewha Samsung Education and Culture Center. The event was attended by Director Cho Sabang, Mayor Lee Sung Heon of Seodaemun District, district officials, and instructors. Fifty Seodaemun District residents, workers, and students participated in the opening ceremony and program.


Now in its second year following last year’s success, “Art Encounters with Ewha” received an enthusiastic response, with registration closing within a day and dozens placed on the waiting list. The first session on September 16, themed “A Journey into the Past: Art that Meets Memory,” featured a class on drawing one’s emotional map. The second session on September 23, themed “Urban Journey: Art that Meets Everyday Life,” featured an urban sketching class.글로벌미래평생교육원, 서대문구와 협력으로 9개대학 연합 행복캠퍼스사업  ‘이화와 함께하는 예술만남’ 개최

This free program aims to provide lifelong learning opportunities for local residents by utilizing the excellent infrastructure of Ewha Womans University. The university plans to continue working with Seodaemun District to offer diverse lifelong education opportunities in the future. The artworks created by participants of “Art Encounters with Ewha” are on display on the 5th floor of the Ewha Samsung Education and Culture Center until October 9.
