Ewha School of Business and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Sign MOU to Foster Women Business Leaders

On Monday, April 7, 2025, Ewha Womans University’s Graduate School of Business (hereinafter “Ewha GSB”) and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance (hereinafter “Samsung Fire”) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop women business leaders.

Through this agreement, the two institutions agreed to establish a cooperative structure to discover and foster women business leaders. Key components of the MOU include:
- Exchange of knowledge and technical expertise for the development and operation of high-quality educational programs
- Collaboration on securing faculty and developing programs to cultivate professional talent
- Dispatch of outstanding Samsung Fire employees to Ewha GSB
- Co-hosting of special events and programs by both institutions
With this partnership, Ewha GSB and Samsung Fire aim to advance the Ewha MBA program and collaborate in various fields to discover and enhance future talent.
Dean Kim Bong-jin stated, “Through this MOU, we look forward to working with Samsung Fire and supporting our MBA students in becoming future women leaders who will shape Korea’s economic landscape.” Han Ho-kyu, Executive Director at Samsung Fire, remarked, “We hope that this collaboration with Ewha GSB will enhance the academic abilities of our female employees and help them realize their potential as future business leaders.”
