After receiving a B.S. degree in Statistics and a B.A. in Mass Media and Communication from Ewha Womans University in South Korea (2000), Hye Eun Lee (Professor) earned her M.A. (2005) and Ph.D. (2008) degrees in Communication from Michigan State University in the US. She was a tenured associate professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa before joining Ewha. Her research focuses on interpersonal and intercultural communication. Specifically, she studies the impact of messages on attitudes, perceptions, and behaviors across cultures. Feel free to contact her for future research opportunities.
