Eun-Ha Namkung Assistant Professor

Eun Ha Namkung, Ph.D. & M.S.W., is an assistant professor in the Department of Social Welfare at Ewha Womans University. Her research interests include the health and well-being of older and disabled adults, as well as health equity for such population groups. Her research has been supported by national and international institutions such as the Health Resources and Services Administration (USA), National Association of Social Workers Foundation (USA), and Ministry of Health and Welfare (Korea). Dr. Namkung’s work has been published in multiple international peer-reviewed journals, including Social Science & Medicine and The Gerontologist. Dr. Namkung also serve as an editor of the Social Work Practice & Research (KCI indexed journal) and an editorial board member of the Disability and Health Journal (SSCI journal). Ewha Womans University, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison are her alma maters. She was also a postdoctoral research fellow at Brandeis University Lurie Institute for Disability Policy and an associate research fellow in the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KIHASA).
