She is a medical oncologist in School of Medicine and Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital. Her major interests are colorectal cancer, hepatobiliary cancer, and pancreatic cancer. In 2011, she visited Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Washington, USA and participated as a researcher in Colorectal cancer research team. Now, she is working as an academician of Korean Association for Clinical Oncology.
