Joon Ho Hwang Professor
Division of English Language & Literature
Joon Ho Hwang teaches British and American Literature in the Division of English Language and Literature at Ewha Womans University. He received the B.A. degree in English literature from Yonsei University, the M.A. degrees in Shakespeare from Yonsei University and in Chaucer from the University of Rochester, and the Ph.D. degree in modern and contemporary poetry from the University of California, Riverside. He has researched and published articles on modern and contemporary poems, comics/graphic novels, Hollywood films, and South Korean popular culture. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses, including "Introduction to English Literature," "English Literature Plus," "Survey of American Literature," "Poetry and Society," "Studies in Modern British and American Poetry," and "Special Topics in English Literature II."
