Soo Geun Oh Professor Emeritus
Professor Soogeun OH is the dean of Ewha Womans University Law School, Seoul, Korea and a leading scholar of Korea on insolvency law and corporation law. He has established the Korean Association of Insolvency Law in 1998 and actively led researches and discussion on various insolvency issues. He chaired the special committee for the revision of Korean insolvency law from 2001-2004 and 2008-2010. He is one of three co-founders of East Asian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring. He has represented Korean government in international institution including World Bank, IMF and UNCITRAL since 1998. He published many articles and books including Insolvency Law Reform 1998-2007 (2007), Understanding of Insolvency Law (2008) and Insolvency Law - Cases and Materials (2012).
