Sangkyu Shin is associate professor of Ewha Institute for the Humanities at Ewha Womans University. He received his PhD at the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 with the thesis, <Meaning and Normartivity – A Study of Teleosemantics>, which focuses on the problem of naturalizing the intentionality. He is the author of <Artificial Intelligence and the Future Condition of Human Being> (in Korean). He has published articles on intentionality, phenomenal consciousness, the extended mind, and transhumanism. He recently published a book, <The Future of Homo Sapiens – The Posthuman and Tranhumanism> (in Korean).
