Dr. Yong-Sang Choi is a professor of Climate Physics in the Department of Climate and Energy Systems Engineering. He is also an adjunct professor of Interdisciplinary Program of Social Economics and CEO/CTO of social venture RainbirdGEO. He has received a Ph.D. at Seoul National University, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at MIT and a visiting professor at NASA JPL. His research deals with climate change and various global environmental issues. To date, he has written about 120 peer-reviewed papers in SCI journals including Natural Climate Change, Natural Communications, and PNAS.
