JIN YONG HA Assistant Professor
Jinyong Ha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Ewha Womans University since March 2026. Before this, he was a Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics, which was his first professional affiliation following his master's degree. He earned a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Seoul National University in 2025. He also holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Sungkyunkwan University, received in 2013 and 2015, respectively. His research focuses on performance optimization for software systems, with particular emphasis on operating systems, file and storage systems, database management systems (DBMS), and distributed storage systems.
