Ceremony Held for the 2017 First Semester International Exchange and Visiting Students

The farewell ceremony for the 2017 first semester international exchange and visiting students was held on Friday, June 9. Among a total of 489 foreign students enrolled in this semester, 351 students are going to return to their countries after finishing their international exchange and visiting programs while the remaining 44 students will continue to study at Ewha Womans University in the next semester.

This ceremony event exhibited pictures of students capturing the precious moments at Ewha and in Korea, presenting things to watch and cherish. Students were able to take photographs as souvenirs after the event ended, which drew an enthusiastic response from students.

On this day Furuya Risako (Tokyo Seitoku University, Japan) and Philipp Staab (University of Tuebingen, Germany) received a completion certificate on behalf of the students. Meng Lan (Shandong University, China), an exchange student representative, expressed her gratitude, saying “I made precious experiences thanks to kind teaching from professors and the academic atmosphere of Ewha.”
