Department of Computer Science and Engineering Ranked Top in "Seoul Accord Activation Business" Evaluation

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering(Department Chair: professor HyoKyung Bahn), acquired the first degree class in evaluation of "Seoul Accord Activation Business". Operated by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, "Seoul Accord Activation Business" is the large-scale software talent development program that supported $3.7 million for 7 years.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering's faculty evaluation is assessed by lecture evaluation, student counseling, online lecture, participation of the teaching method seminar and implementation of smart teaching. Since the evaluation result is highly considered for promotions, professors have made a greater effort for undergraduate education since the beginning of ‘Seoul Accord Activation Business.’ This effort by professors have contributed to the satisfaction of students.
Kijoon Chae, the dean of College of Engineering said, “I am pleased to see the department has grown steadily, and as a result of 'Seoul Accord Activation Business’, the admission rate for the department has since doubled."
