On December 12, 2014, Ewha Institute for Leadership Development held a symposium entitled "The Women Leadership of the Age of Glocal Scientific Technique, Expanding Horizons" at ECC Lee San-Bong Hall. Ewha’s professors of the College of Natural Science & Engineering and professionals participated in this symposium to discuss the meaning and value of women leadership required by the age of science technique and interdisciplinary research. They also explained the current state of female scientists in this field and the future of women leadership.
This symposium was a part of the "Ewha-Luce International Seminar : Expanding Horizons" hosted by Ewha in conjunction with the Henry Luce Foundation. It was arranged to announce the core value of Ewha-Luce International Seminar for Women Graduate Students in STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) as well as to celebrate the launching of the seminar.
The Ewha-Luce International Seminar for Women Graduate Students will be held from June 22, 2015 to July 9, 2015 at Ewha's campus.
