Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital, College of Medicine, and LG Electronics Won the Innovation Awards at the CES 2024

LG Intelli-FiT, a digital health service with a body shape analysis feature, which was developed by LG Electronics and the research team of Professor Seoyon Yang (Joint researchers: Professor Eun-Hee Ha and Professor Jihee An, the Dean of the College of Medicine and a professor at the Ewha Medical Research Institute respectively) at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital (EUMC) won the Innovation Awards at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, one of the biggest IT and electronics fairs held in Las Vegas, U.S.

LG Intelli-FiT is a digital health service that provides suitable solutions catered to specific users' physical and mental well-being under the concept of "Understanding Your Body." The customer-oriented service provides personalized workout solutions and digital healthcare based on analyses by cameras and mat sensors.[1] The EUMC and the College of Medicine have collaborated with LG Electronics since 2022 to develop solutions for body shape analyses and personalized workouts.
Professor Seoyon Yang said, "I am so happy to see the result of joint development with the EUMC’s rehabilitation treatment team gaining global recognition, and I will devote more efforts to research and development that will help treat patients and enhance public health." Dean Eun-Hee Ha said, “LG Intelli-FiT is the result of the collaborative efforts of LG and the medical professionals. LG Smart TV Platform’s strong will to develop distinguished content and service, and the medical professionals’ efforts to prevent illness in the age of super-aged society by using digital healthcare,” and “We will do our best to make this service more advanced.”
CES Innovation Awards is an annual competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products in twenty-nine sections. LG Intelli-FiT became the honoree in the Digital Health section.
