9 Ewha Alumnae to Pass the 30th Labor Certification Attorney Qualification Exam

A total of 9 Ewha Alumnae have passed the 30th Labor Certification Attorney Qualification Exam 2021.

The Labor Certification Attorney Qualification Examination is one of the eight major professional qualification tests conducted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor to select experts in the field of labor law, with a total of 8,064 people applying for the 30th Labor Certification Attorney Qualification Exam. Among the successful applicants, 197 people were in their 20s, and by gender, women accounted for 53.75%.


Among them, 9 of them were Ewha alumnae, including Seoyoung Park (Social Studies, 17) who is still enrolling, Soo-hyun Kim (Class of ‘20 Life Science), Ji-young Kim (Class of ‘07,  Philosophy), Ji-hyun Kim (Class of ‘21, Social Welfare), Hye-joo Park (Class of ‘15, Sports Studies), Jin-hyang Park (Class of ‘21, Psychology), Yoon-ji Shin (Class of ‘21, Korean literature), Hye-min Cho (Class of ‘16, Musical Composition), and Se-ran Han  (Class of ‘21, German Literature). There has been no official school statistics released, but as a result of its own tally through a network between Ewha applicants, we have recorded the highest number of successful applicants since last year.


The Labor Certification Attorney Qualification exam was adopted in order to provide professional knowledge and experience in labor-related laws and labor management, requiring professionals to smoothly operate business or work and rational improvement in autonomous personnel/human resource management. Recently, the importance of certified labor workers, experts in human resources, is increasing in the rapidly changing business environment.


One of the successful candidates, Hye-joo Kim(Class of ‘15, Sports Studies) said, "the second test passing rate was 7.13%, which is not easy. But if you move forward with a clear faith in yourself and a strong spirit of challenge, it will surely bring good results." She added that, "I am grateful to have succeed in exam after doing my best. I am grateful to passing together with nine Ewha alumnae who are as diverse as various majors," he said.
