Ewha School of Business Earns Third Consecutive AACSB International Accreditation

Ewha School of Business by Dean Kym Hyo-Gun received its third consecutive business accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business International (AACSB).
In 2010 Ewha Womans University, as a first for women’s universities worldwide, acquired AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business International) accreditation for both undergraduate and graduate programs at Ewha School of Business. The third accreditation, following the second one (2015-2020), allows Ewha to maintain its international business accreditation for another five years (2020-2025). Ewha is the sole women’s university to achieve AACSB accreditation across all degree courses including undergraduate, masters and doctoral programs as well as all Ewha MBA programs, and this proves the school provides outstanding business education.
AACSB International is one of the world’s most prestigious accrediting bodies in business education, and its accreditation is granted based on the evaluation of 15 items including college development strategies, faculty capabilities, curriculum superiority, education environment and students' excellence. To date, the accreditation has been earned by only five percent of the world’s top business schools (as of May 2020, 840 universities accredited worldwide).
Kym Hyo-Gun, Dean of the Business School, said, "As Ewha School of Business earned two consecutive re-accreditations from one of the world's most prestigious accrediting bodies in business education, its international status has been enhanced, but we are not complacent and will establish a solid reputation as a prestigious business school through constant improvement."
