Ewha Signs MOU with MUJU YG Foundation for Educational Cooperation

Ewha established a strategic partnership with MUJU YG Foundation and initiated a progressive relationship between pop culture and academics in pursuit of a collaboration in the area of arts and culture.
On February 26th, President Kyunghee Choi concluded a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at Pfeiffer Hall of Ewha with Minseok Yang, a trustee of MUJU YG Foundation for Educational Cooperation. MUJU YG Founctaion is a not-for-profit organization established by Hyunseok Yang, a producer of YG Entertainment. The organization donated 900,000 dollars last year to help the children and youth in need.
As the first cooperative program under the MOU, Ewha and MUJU YG Foundation have started music therapy this month for youths under the guidance of Professor Hyunju Chong of the Graduate School of Music Therapy at Ewha Womans University.
Through this formal agreement, Ewha will be creating new values in arts and culture along with their vision for innovation with the MUJU YG Foundation.
