Ewha held 2014 Commencement Ceremony and 2015 Entrance Ceremony

The Commencement Ceremony for 2014 Ewha graduates was held at the Welch-Ryang Auditorium on February 23, 2015. A total of 3,600 degrees were awarded, which included 2,334 bachelor’s, 1,131 master’s and 135 doctoral degrees. Ewha also conferred bachelor’s degrees upon 23 international students from a diverse range of countries including Thailand, China, Myanmar, Poland, and Russia.
During the ceremony, President Kyunghee Choi encouraged all graduates in her speech with a poignant statement, “I hope every one of you becomes an innovative and challenging person who grows the seed of passion and creativity into beautiful flowers and faithful fruits.”
On February 27th, Ewha held an Entrance Ceremony to welcome 3,470 new students to the university. After the ceremony, the newly matriculated students attended a 'Welcome to Ewha' orientation prepared by the Student Service Center. Additionally, there was a special program implemented this year, ‘Welcome to the Ewha Family’ which was arranged for about 700 family members of new students to share the vision of ‘Innovation Ewha.’
