Ewha Womans University Opens Official Facebook and Twitter Accounts
Ewha Womans University has created its official accounts on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/EwhaWomansUniversity ) and Twitter ( https://twitter.com/EwhaWomansUniv ).
The university launched a school group service ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/groupsatewha/ ) in August 2012 for the first time in Korea, and it has been the only university that delivers its excellent lectures through the two largest global educational content channels: YouTube EDU ( http://www.youtube.com/ewhauniv ) and iTunes U ( https://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/DZR.woa/wa/viewArtist?id=538008209 ). Equipped with major global social networking services such as Facebook and Twitter, now the school wants to communicate not only with Ewha students and faculty but also with the public in Korea and abroad.
Ewha plans to share with its members various content such as the homepage news center, lounge, and blog (http://today.ewha.ac.kr). In addition, more personal content including the campus sketch and participatory events are available through our newly-opened Facebook page and the widely popular microblogging service, Twitter. These social networking services will help us get closer to prospective Ewha students and the public at large.
