The Business School of Ewha Earned AACSB International Accreditation
The Business School of Ewha has earned AACSB International Accreditation on August 2, 2010. Ewha has earned the accreditation in all courses including undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in business. Ewha is the first and the only women's university to have been accredited AACSB in all areas of curriculum in business.
AACSB International(the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools and its accreditation is the mark of quality distinction most widely sought after by business schools. It is known to take a great deal of commitment and determination to earn and maintain AACSB accreditation. Achieving accreditation is a process of rigorous internal review, evaluation, and adjustment and can take several years to complete.
Ewha was evaluated excellent in all standards requiring a high quality teaching environment, a commitment to continuous improvement, and curricula responsive to the needs of business. So far, less than 5% of the business schools worldwide have earned the achievement including business schools of London, Harvard, Stanford, and Yale.
Kim Jin-Ho, the Dean of Business School said, "The AACSB assessment committee who visited the Business School of Ewha was impressed with our vision. We will continue on to dedicate ourselves to foster students to become competent and professional business administrators equipped with leadership and the ability to make efficient decisions."
