150 Ewha Students Study Abroad for Summer

Summer School Exchange Programs at 17 Universities Including Harvard
This summer, 150 students are leaving abroad for summer school programs at 17 universities. The universities include Harvard University, UC Berkely, UCLA, London School of Economics, the University of HongKong, and Fudan University.
The number of students who take summer school programs abroad is superior compared to other universities in Korea that send the average of 20 students. It is the fruit of Ewha's effort to widen its global network through 'Global Ewha 2010 Project'. The aim of the project is to provide chances to study aborad and gain global experiences to 60% of enrolled students.
Ewha's excellent global reputation is proved from the result of Asia's university evaluation compiled by the Chosun Ilbo and global university evaluation institute QS of the U.K. in May. Ewha ranked 4th in Korea and 15th in Asia in the category of degree of globalization. Especially, Ewha ranked 1st in the ratio of inbound foreign students and the outbound exchange students.
