ECC Samsung Hall Opening Ceremony Held

Ewha held the opening ceremony of Samsung Hall, the up-to-date art performance hall in Ewha Campus Complex on May 1st. Seven hundred guests including VIPs attended the ceremony and congratulated the opening of the new performance hall of Ewha.
The inauguration music concert was held and the following event was the unveiling ceremony of the Samsung Hall. Yoon Hoo-Jung, the Chairperson of Ewha Haktang, Chung Il-sook, the former president of Ewha Womans University, Lee Bae-Yong, the president of Ewha Womans University, Kim Woon-Sup, Samsung Electronics' vice president and other VIPs attended.
President Lee Bae-Yong said in the congratulating speech, "Samsung Hall will become Ewha's center for creating and sharing art and culture. We hope Samsung Hall will enrich our lives through concerts and performances."
In the reception after the unveiling ceremony, Chairperson, Yoon Hoo-Jung said, "Ewha would like to thank everyone who have contributed with their heart for the opening of this beautiful performance hall. I hope Samsung Hall will be another motivation for Ewha to foster global leaders with artistic talents."
The Samsung Hall, which is on the fourth basement floor of Ewha Campus Complex, is a grand performance hall with 716 seats and the size of 3,476m2.
