President Lee Bae-Yong Elected as the Chairman of Korean Council for University Education

Bae-Yong Lee, the president of Ewha has been elected as the 15th chairman of Korean Council for University Education(KCUE), a body that decides key university policies, on April 27th. Lee is the first woman to become the head of KCUE since its establishment in 1982.
| Lee has been devoting herself for the KCUE as the vice-chairman since April 2008. Especially, she contributed in advancing university admission system as the chairman of University Admissions Deliberation Committee of KCUE since July 2008. Lee said, "As the chairman, I will do my best to position KCUE as the council that leads the future of nation's education." The vice-chairmen of KCUE are Geo-Suk Suh, president of Chonbuk National University, Ki-Su Lee, president of Korea University, and Hee-Yeon Lee, president of Kunsan National University. |
