Yuhee Lee Professor

Department of Interpreting & Translation

Professor Yuhee Lee is associate professor at the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation. She has been interpreting for international conferences for more than 25 years and teaching interpreting for 22 years. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University, Seoul, a Master's Degree from the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul and a Degree from the Ecole Superieure d'Interpretes et de Traducteurs(ESIT),Paris.
In 2000, as chief interpreter for the Korean team, she successfully organized and conducted simulatenous interpretation service for the 3rd ASEM Meeting held in Seoul.
With more than 2500 days of conference interpreting in various fields and settings, she has become very interested medical interpreting in recent years.
With more than 10 years of medical interpreting, she is currently preparing a practical medical glossary for interpreters and translators.
