Daeun Song is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Ewha Womans University, where she directs the Advanced Intelligent Robotics Lab (AIR Lab). Prior to joining Ewha, she conducted postdoctoral research at George Mason University and the University of Maryland. She earned her Ph.D. from Ewha Womans University under the supervision of Prof. Young J. Kim. Her research interests include intelligent robotics, robot navigation, and human-centered AI, and she actively works with collaborators across robotics and AI. Her long-term vision is to build robots that seamlessly integrate into human society as trustworthy and socially aware partners.
