이승혁(David Lee)교수는 인디애나대학교에서 행정학 박사학위를 취득(2016)한 후, 하와이대학교 조교수(2017-2021)를 거쳐 2021년부터 이화여자대학교 행정학과에 재직하고 있습니다. 주요 연구 관심은 협업(Collaboration)과 포용(Inclusion)에 기반한 거버넌스 체계 설계와 운영이며, 특히 재난 대응, 노숙자 정책, 다양성 관리, 그리고 시민 참여 플랫폼 등 사회적 취약성에 직결된 주제에 주목하고 있습니다. 연구 성과는 Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Public Administration Review, Public Management Review, Policy & Politics, Review of Public Personnel Administration와 같은 행정학 주요 SSCI 저널뿐 아니라, Cities, Disasters, Journal of Urban Affairs 등 도시, 재난, 사회문제를 다루는 저널에도 게재하였습니다. 이를 통해 학문적 성과와 함께 공공문제 해결의 실질적 시사점을 제공하고 있습니다. 또한, 다양한 국내외 정부 프로젝트에 참여하여 정책 설계 및 평가와 제도 개선 경험을 축적하였습니다. 더불어 Public Personnel Management 편집위원 및 International Review of Public Administration 편집장으로 활동하여 연구 영역을 글로벌 차원으로 확장하고 있습니다.
